Ojcow National Park is in valleys of two rivers: Pradnik and Saspowka. The Most of the Park is made of Jurassic limestone. Because of the excavating of underground water on limestone outstaidnig karst forms developed and created a unique view – rocks in most astonishing shapes. There is the Cudgel of Hercules, Stone Wanderer and Diotima’s Needle. There are also around 400 caves in the Park. The Most famous known are King Lokietek’s Cave, Dark Cave, and Highland Robber’s Cave. The land makes it a perfect place for recreation as well as for climbing sports. Among great variety of animals living in the National Park, the most interesting are bats. On this relatively small area, there lives as many as 15 different species of bat.
